Day -3 of Ride (Boston): Jay and I are taking off for Colorado tomorrow morning (5am). We're flying into a small airport in Telluride. I fully expect there to be an old man at the end of the runway with a large net to save us if the plane has any issues. The Massachusetts delegation, elected to fly in more than a day early so we can get used to the altitude and make sure that our bikes and other gizmos arrive in tact. Hopefully, our debacle with DHL and UPS is over and our equipment will be there. We're both pretty excited. I finished packing my last items ~10 minutes ago and plan to head over to JP tonight hang out with Jay and Erikka.
I'd take a picture of my gear and post it... but I think that my camera is at the bottom of my bag... so just close your eyes and visualize lots of stuff in two 1500 sq-in black panniers, a camelpak lobo, and a helmet. cheers
